Job Summary

Provides administrative and project support to Residential Camps & Conference Services (RCCS) with a high volume of internal and external clients.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and three years of administrative experience, experience related to the project area or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to Residential Camps & Conference Services (RCCS) with a high volume of internal and external clients. Responsible for coordination of special projects, event logistics, marketing materials, social media communications, website maintenance, financial transactions, and budget reconciliation tasks.

Works with Student Affairs Marketing to produce overall marketing materials and to create marketing pieces for various sales campaigns, coordinates social media resources for marketing purposes, performs basic updating to RCCS web pages, coordinates with Student Affairs Marketing team on web design and other marketing services.

Assists with the recruitment, marketing, contracting, and invoicing for the corporate summer intern housing program.

Performs budget reconciliations, maintains departmental spreadsheets and reports, assists department staff with purchasing and travel needs, assists with new hire paperwork for professional staff and completes all student worker or intern new hire paperwork, assists with department budget, places online and in-store purchases, manages student worker time sheets and payroll requirements, and trains student workers on payroll requirements.

Assists in the development, planning, scheduling, implementation & delivery of RCCS events, collaborates with other departments regarding programming and event logistics, reserves space for events, ensures that media services are reserved and functional, coordinates with catering and dining services and needed, coordinates with off campus guests and speakers regarding parking and other logistics.

Provides excellent customer service to students, clients and guests in the office as well as during events and programs on campus; refers RCCS guests to appropriate services out of Housing based on the needs of the guests.
