Job Summary

Assist in maintaining and installing required electrical needs at UT Dallas. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and a good driving record.
Perform electrical repair of branch circuits. Install new electrical equipment. Ability to “run” circuits. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Read and understand code and blueprints. Assist and follow instructions from journeyman.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent with an apprentice electrical license is required. Ability to lift, walk, bend, operate lifts, use a ladder, working in extreme conditions, etc. Follow instructions from journeyman electrician.
