Job Summary

Assist Program Head in the business management of the Cognition and Neuroscience program and work collaboratively with the School Fiscal Officer. Manage all financial activities of the program including maintaining assigned budget and control of expenditures within that budget. Coordinate travel, purchasing, and maintain cost centers associated with the program. Coordinate reconciliation of cost centers. Work with Academic Support Coordinator as needed with financial reports, projections, and other required information.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience in a job at or above the level of Administrative Assistant or the equivalent combination of relevant education and experience; two of these years must be in a position with unit-wide scope.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in business administration or related field and four or more years of experience in a job at or above the level of Administrative Assistant in administration, accounting and/or business management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and assist the Program Head in the financial management of the Cognition and Neuroscience Program in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences.

Additional Information

Requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn and maneuver between various computer operating systems used within the University. Must have knowledge of Excel. Experience with People Soft a plus.
