Job Summary

Faculty teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses and participate actively in the academic community through membership in governance bodies and committees, administrative duties, program planning and development, research, and public service. Senior Lecturers in Computer Science will teach a full-time academic load of undergraduate and/or graduate classes; mentor and advise students; participate in curricular design for CS courses.

Minimum Education and Experience

An earned graduate degree appropriate for the academic discipline plus a record of productivity and professional achievement.

Preferred Education and Experience

Earned PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely-related academic discipline. Prior collegiate-level teaching in Computer Science is preferred, but professional/technical experience may be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate classes.
Design curriculum.
Participate in academic assessment.
Advise and mentor students.
Conduct other teaching-related activities as assigned.
Engage in professional development activities.
